Thoughts Confuse,
Emotions Hurt,
Meditation liberates!!

Remember! Zen doesn't want you to become a Thinker or Philosopher. Zen wants you to meditate. Philosophers and thinkers think and analyze a lot and on the surface it will look like they have thought of all the solutions to the problem. But if you look into their lives, you will know that they are as miserable and as restless as you are; perhaps bit more than you.
Understand this! If you are hurt and you think logically then you will easily come to know that you are hurt because you expect. Now understanding this logically only will not help. Because it will give rise to more questions and frustrations like : 'Why do I expect?' 'Why can't I give up expectations?' 'Why am I so?' etc etc. A philosopher will suggest you to give up expectations but you know very well it can't be done directly.
So Zen says, you already have heard a lot of philosophies; you already know a lot. Did it help you? No! So stop thinking and start meditating. And slowly slowly you will see a clarity of thought bubbling into prominence from your inside.
Meditate! Zen Means Meditation!!
